Finally we found the snow: On the South side of the Alps, in South Tirol, even the valleys were covered solid in the white fluffy stuff. Snowman building, sledding, cross country and down hill skiing under mostly sunny skies were every day activities during a one week vacation with my dad.
Leonie and her new friend Tristan entertained us in the hotel lobby with a story they wrote for their home built aquarium.
Well,glad you experienced snow!!…we are to get 30cm here in NS tomorrow..Nor Easter coming in the form of snow so we wouldn’t want you to be jealous!!…lol

On February 1st we will drink a week dram to toast your birthday, Bill, as we gather for the Annual Burnes Bash. Who needs Kaiserschmann when you can have haggis, bagpipes, single malt and tartan EVERYTHING!
