We went to a bay called Anse de Fica in Corsica and there we went to the beach. There we saw donkeys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were not scared at all and I went to one of them that was standing in the corner behind a stone wall. I fed him bread and named him Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All together there were 6 donkeys running free at the beach and one was a baby. When we left in the dinghy Joe was crying loudly.
Have just gotten back from having a delicious dinner Cabbagge Rolls yummy.
Great visiting with Tanya and Richard.Jim in great spirits now that he’s getting some mashed food.
Many thanks for your up dates.

This is a coincidence! Yesterday (two days after Sol’s birthday and a couple of hours after Mum’s 100th birthday party) I went to a huge anniversary celebration in Port Renfrew and there were….three donkeys for the kids!

Hi Sol, Happy Belated Birthday!! What an amazing adventure you guys are having and the donkey experience looks like lots of fun!! They were probably glad to have some attention and maybe that is why Joe was crying for you to come back. Look forward to your posts. Xo Penni

Hi Sol – You will have to ask Chris about his donkey ride when we were in Santorini.
You folks are having an amazing experience, and this is so much fun to see your photos and hear your stories.
Looks like you are having great weather as well. Enjoy!
