We are in the midst of packing for our annual camping vacation with friends from Victoria and Vancouver on Thetis Island. The last two summers we had to miss it, so this will be a big happy reunion. We are looking very much forward to be in our secluded island paradise again, just in this very moment the un-packing and re-packing feels a bit overwhelming.
We are leaving today and will be back Labor Day Weekend (August 30). I thought I let you know in case you were wondering, why you are not hearing from us! Back to the big outdoors, hurray!!!

As Bonnie and I walked by yesterday morning, we saw that the hockey net had been moved, and MORE importantly, it SMELLED like you!! I stood at the base of the stairs and looked hopefully up your path, but alas, still there was no sign of ANY of you!! Sorry to hear me getting to see, sniff and lick you will be delayed yet further…
But enjoy the great outdoors, it’s my favourite place too!
