Coastal 999 Award

BCA award

Last night at the Royal Victoria Yachtclub Sharki Adventures we all received the Coastal 999 Award from the Bluewater Cruising Association. This is for completing a coastal (harbour-hopping) voyage outside Canadian territorial waters of minimum 999 nautical miles. We qualified easily with nearly 2500 nautical miles covered in the Mediterranean in 2013 and 2014.  Now the four of us are not dreamers or doers anymore, among the sailing folks we are now called “doners”. Which won’t keep us from dreaming up new adventures and pursuing them!
